CSFRE Partners with Arcadia University

The senior vice president of forensic science initiatives at NMS Labs, Barry Logan is a renowned toxicologist who has conducted extensive research in the field over the last three decades. In addition to his role at NMS Labs, Barry Logan serves as the executive director of the Center for Forensic Science Research and Education (CFSRE).
The Center for Forensic Science Research and Education (CFSRE) collaborated with Arcadia University to enhance Arcadia's Master of Science in Forensic Science (MSFS) program, designed to prepare students who are looking to pursue various careers in the field of forensic science. The partnership enables students to receive hands-on training at CFSRE's facility in Willow Grove (located five miles away from the institution). Through the partnership, students who enroll in the master's program can hone the skills required to work with real forensic research equipment and specimens through quality laboratory exposure at the CFSRE. Staff at the CFSRE provide the required training at the facility.
The MSFS program is accredited by the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) and the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC). The nationally-recognized forensic science research entity NMS Labs has also partnered with the university to support the MSFS program.
