Our Walkabout No.2 ( West to East ) takes place on Wednesday 28th September 2022 across the length and breadth of Greater Eccles taking in the sights, the sounds & the visual culture of our unique community including Barton, Eccles, Ellesmere Park, Monton, Swinton, Wardley, Ellenbrook, Mosley Common, Astley, Astley Green (Lunch), Boothstown, Worsley, Westwood Park, Winton, Patricroft, Peel Green, Higher Irlam, Lower Irlam & Cadishead as we walk the streets, roads, and avenues of Greater Eccles with ConSensUS One.
Our Walkabout will take about 10 hours covering approx. 26 miles (possibly 60, 000 steps) incl stops for breakfast and lunch.
We start at The Rock Hotel, 40 Peel Green Road, Eccles, M30 7AY @ 9.00 am and finish at The Black Swan, 550 Manchester Road, Hollins Green, Manchester, WA3 6LA @ 7.00 pm (all times approximate, as we often meet people along the way to chat and pass the time of day).
