One of the things my husband and I miss the most while living in Denmark is a tiny little restaurant in our college town, Columbus OH,  called Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Palace. We decided it was time to introduce our new friends to the joys of gourmet hot dogs, or in Danish, pølser.

It was time for a Pølser Party. 

 

In a tribute to the Dirty Frank's experience, I made the poster below for invitations. All work was inked by hand then colored in Photoshop.

Since all but two of the guests were not American, we introduced them to some American classics and a few favorites from Dirty Frank's.

This little guy indicated what room to put coats in. 

If you've never been to Dirty Frank's then go asap. Eat a dog or two in our honor.
