_ISTD AWARDS  2014

 

_This is my entry for this years ISTD Awards (International Society of Typographic Designers).

   For this years brief I have chosen the project entitled 'Everything about one thing'. 

   The notion of absurdity is something which has always interested me. For this project I

   have chosen to tell people everything about absurdity, which, in itself is completely 

   absurd. 

   I wanted to highlight the importance of absurdity in our lives. Without it life would be

   mundane, uncreative, unimaginative and boring. 

_In particular I wanted to show the importance of absurdity within play (games), in this

  case, a deck of cards.
