Here is an experimental hue animation based off a freeform abstract painting base. A great example of how shapes emerge, direct the focus of the painting, and get amplified in these studies! Not knowing where I am going at the start has been great fun! The background came from freeform paint play with color and form until the sort of 'forest' shapes emerged. The second pass, I drew in a the foreground tree that was based on 3D topology edges and vertices. Towards the end of the painting I played with curves and colors until ultimately I decided it needed each color of the rainbow involved! Thanks for reading and taking a look :)
