This project started with the intention of unite two restaurants, Pizzaria Lusitana and Tabafeira.
We sought concepts linked to tradition and reinvention, where Portuguese flavors are perpetuated and new ones are combined, as in a new alliance. Both have in common the raw material and flavors of the Lusitanian soul, and they seek to maintain the recognition and fidelity of those who follow these two spaces.
We opted for a typographic logo, borrowing from the originals some details that would make the difference. In this case, in the Tabafeira logo we worked in the endings of the characters T and A, and as a reference to a more rustic concept, we added some texture. At Lusitana, we mainly kept the shield, as a visual element that generates recognition and union between the two kitchens.
