This is a project for Naviglio Pavese, an historical canal in Milan. The aim was to improve the neighborhood, making it charming like the bigger Naviglio Grande, through a new light landscape. We decided to exploit and to underline the lenght of the canal (30 km) and also the water, through effects of reflections.
Plan and Elevation: wallwasher on buildings facades, light poles along the canal
Details and escamotage: 1. Spotlights in the water to simulate reflections under the bridge, where there aren't lighted poles. 2. The poles in LDPE are lighted through spotlight in the ground. 3. Street numbers of shops and restaurants
