The warmth of handwriting has always spoken differently, from the manuscript to the underlying meaning, it is an invitation to deeper emotions and connections. Personally, it has always been a way to express my thoughts that failed to communicate through dialogue. However, a letter does have its limitations - what if the reader lacks the courage even to open the envelope? How can our thoughts be heard then? This is how the idea of a ‘transparent letter’ speaks to me. Although a transparent letter might be beyond postal regulations, its existence allows thoughts to flow as natural as air, as serene as breathing to the beholder.
手寫筆跡的溫度一直被視為關係情感之間的聯繫。自己一直很喜歡手寫的溫度，也很喜歡透過文字、書信去表達情感，作為一種抒發情緒的出口。當連打開信封的勇氣都沒有，只想對方能直視我內心的所思所想 – 我如何能向對方直率地坦白我的心聲呢？ 這觸發了我想透過「透明的信」產生對話的原因。雖然「透明的信」在香港是不能被正式寄出的，但它存在的意義就像空氣般自然、像呼吸般自在，才能一目了然向對方表達心跡。
