I developed my own set of builder's plans out of Mr. Jazayeri's office, which were sold to a local homebuilder and after further value-engineering, speculatively built and sold.
Strict given room sizes dictated extensive diagramming, a terrible way to design.
The massing and other aspects of the design were all strictly constrained by the community building code.
My final version of the project. The design focuses on the second floor, the recuperative space of prospect and refuge.
The final design, after extensive cost-cutting and with the clarity of the second floor deminished by the addition of a bunkroom and extra bathroom.
