لمصحف عثمان فضل كبير في حفظ القرآن الكريم وتلاوته ، ودفع الفتنة والخلاف بين القراء ، ووضع حد للحن في تلاوة آيات القرآن الكريم. كما حفظ مصحف عثمان للمسلمين ترتيب السور والآيات كما هي الآن ، بالإضافة إلى وقف القرآن على الرسم العثماني.

Othman’s copy of the Qur’an has great merit in memorizing and reciting the Noble Qur’an, warding off sedition and disagreement among readers, and putting an end to melody in reciting the verses of the Noble Qur’an. The Qur’an of Othman also preserved for the Muslims the arrangement of the surahs and verses as they are now, in addition to stopping the Qur’an on the Ottoman drawing.
