Hunt Showdown UI Concept

A UI concept for Hunt Showdown

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive first-person PvP bounty hunting agame with heavy PvE elements, from the makers of Crysis. Set in the darkest corners of the world, it packs the thrill of survival games into match-based format.

Rather than a complete redesign, my goal was to create a more streamlined experience for Hunt Showdown; removing redundant pages and some of the on screen clutter. I have redesigned some of the elements for this concept whist bringing some existing elements and ideas from other parts of the game to be used in different ways.

I wanted it to be simple to navigate and read whilst still retaining the identity of the game.

LANDING PAGE/LOBBY
Much like the game now the landing page would be the same, the Bounty Hunt lobby. Some of the options in the menu have been removed (contracts for example) or moved in to one of the eight options. The menu on the right shows which mode you have selected in red, with greyed out modes not being available due to party size. The ready button has also changed to the symbol you see in the matches for the bosses.
HUNTER INFORMATION
This isn't too much different to the current view but there's more emphasis on the sections being separate.
HUNTER LOADOUT
Clicking on a weapon on the previous page would bring you here. This is quite different to the current page, which by default a big list of every weapon that fits in that slot; this breaks the list in to categories. Contraband and legendary weapons are also not shown as separate options in the list, but as symbol on the weapon picture (for contraband) and a separate list on the right (for legendaries), further reducing clutter.
With the prioritise contraband option on, if the player chose to equip the Veterli 71 it would select a contraband one as there are three in the inventory.
POST MATCH SCREEN
The post match screen would also have a 2D replay feature. You could scrub though the timeline under the map and see the teams move though the map. Points appear above the timeline to show your deaths, kills and bounty pickups/extractions. The player symbols on the map change to show alive status. The four white arrows show where the boss was and you'd be able to zoom in and out as well.
