The project is to make any model of our choice and the chosen object is a fictional device called the Hoenn Pokedex from the Pokemon Universe.

 

In the Pokemon World, the Pokedex is basically a Pokemon encyclopedia. It stores Pokemon information as well as their whereabouts if you have encountered them before. In the game, your journey is to encounter or capture all 202 Hoenn Region Pokemons!

 

The reason for me to choose this object is because I’m a fan of the Pokemon series and I really like the look of the Pokedex. It’s not just a technology advanced device in the Pokemon world but it’s also sleek and beautiful. There are many versions of how people recreate the Hoenn Pokedex, so I thought I would try a hand at it myself. My version of the device took inspiration from other fanmade recreation from the internet which had a much more sleeker and slimmer design as well as being super shiny as compared to the toy version I have which was more Orange than Red and looks very plasticky.
