Estonian Escher
This is a background pattern for Saaremaa Vodka. Original idea comes from Dutch artist M.C.Escher.
All elements are side by side and make up an endless pattern.
Many creatures you see in this pattern are straightly connected with Saaremaa (biggest island of Estonia), but most of them are quite strange. You only see them, when you have tasted Saaremaa Vodka:)
This work has been a great success here in Estonia. In autumn it won golden prize at ADC*Estonia design contest, and last friday it won golden prize (design/illustration category) at Kuldmuna 2011 (biggest advertising contest in Estonia).
