Interactive linear experience inspired by Nina Simone
Mockup of a website, designed as a linear experience dedicated to the famous life of Nina Simone. The main purpose of the design is to follow Nina's footsteps in her struggle to get her voice out and fighting for black rights.
The experience starts with a quiet white empty canvas, and as the user interacts with Nina's figure, her hair gets bigger untill it fills up the screen with black. This represent, as figuratively as it sounds - Pushing the whiteness, and taking space for the black community. As the black gains more space, so does their voice, the songs tempo gets faster and louder.
This project is a celebration of self culture and acceptence of one another
