As these avian creatures flock to fields of the ripest cherries,
we at Bluebird Roastery encourage our valued customers to come
together, have meaningful conversations and enjoy some of the
world's finest coffee varieties in a welcoming environment.
The bird mark represents three of the four elements:
• The blue is water
• The bird is air
• The leaf is earth
We bring the fire.
The combination of these is what gives our farming partners
the ability to grow and cultivate specialty coffee beans.
On one of our first farm visits in Ecuador, we came across a bluebird feasting on some coffee cherries. No matter how much the farmer tried to scare the little bird away, his efforts were unsuccessful as the bluebird was obviously tantalized by the fruit. Deciding to taste the cherries and have a cupping session with the farmer, it was clear we had struck something special. That’s why today our standard in house coffee is simply named Cereza Azul “Blue Cherry” as it represents both the fruit and the bird that started our movement to providing exceptional coffee.
