My friends mean an awful lot to me, so when I know they're going through tough times, I like to send them something encouraging. In this case, I have several friends that are still making their way through school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Finals Week is coming up! In hopes of raising their spirits, I decided to paint some vibrant phrases on kraft paper with gouache so the color would pop off the card. The placement and style was free-handed, but the phrases were very meticulously thought out.
