Loft was born as a creative bohemians style - and its concept is in courageous renovation of old factories and plants. Now it is used by designers merely everythere, even in ordinary rooms. Hovewer, creative mind goes further, and today loft is ready to make a totally new step. Modern interpretation, among all, thinks about ecologic and social factors. Not only permanent constructions but also transport could act as a "raw material". Here I used tram coaches in closed depot station.
My idea was to make an unique creative and domestic space for young and bold artists. A space where "private" and "common" flow and reflect each other. Where is no boundaries between "inside" and "outside". Where you can reach the semi-opened kitchen from quiet bedrooms and toilets in the ends of tram; and where is a view to the living room from the kitchen. Or, maybe, to the terrace. To the office or playground. Or to the winter garden. Or to the inner yard. Reflecting space adjusts to all residents' desires, containing many functions and transforming from opened to closed . But safety and vastness are always constant.
This loft is an alternative of traditional students' residences and communes. It is a real fun to live here: you can throw parties in the evening on a lawn, you can together rehearse songs or think about business plans. No limitations at all! And a sky-blue tram acts as a bright symbol of this freedom and youth.
