Designed a programme booklet for my university (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) English & Drama Society. Decked in full metallic gold paper, while balanced with black to create a timeless and luxurious look.
Client was looking for a more economical option, saving on paper and printing costs. Thus, the original idea of having it printed on an A5 booklet, saddlestitched was scrapped - the content is tastefully fitted into a full A4 page and folded to make an exact A4 square. The content is printed black and white on a metallic gold paper.

The booklet is more than what it serves. The unconventional sizing (a square) makes an impression and the gold finish makes it a great takeaway gift from the event.
Logo was also designed for this event - theatricality is an important element in any play. An actor's first-hand emotions that he/she evokes right at the moment of the play is what I wanted to emphasize, thus the use of quotation marks with one of it depicting the shedding of a tear (the emotions).
The quotation marks also suggests the literature aspect of this festival, where an open call was made for student entries on scripts, which will later be chosen and adapted into an actual play during the festival.
