This still life focuses on 5 different styles of illustrating the same object. The top left version was completed in a time limit of 60 seconds without looking at the paper once. The top middle version is a simple contour of the shapes visible, also completed in sub 60 seconds. The top right version is a wire frame of the lava lamp, completed in a 3 minute time limit. The bottom left version shows only the major shadows present on the lamp at the time - completed with a 3 minute time limit. Finally, the bottom right is a fully shaded interpretation of the lamp completed in a 5 minute time limit. This exercise focused on being able to visualize and understand the object completely in a short time period.
