I’ve always had a desire to inspire the next generation of creative professionals. Ones that will write their own stories and achieve greater things than I ever could. However, I never got around to doing something about it until 2020. As you already know, most of us were stuck at home and students probably felt it the worst. 

The students of The St. Joseph’s Convent Photography Club had a desire to edit their photos, but most didn’t know where to start. So, I took the opportunity to teach them the industry standard software in photo editing, Adobe Lightroom — with a bit of Photoshop, like a tiny bit. We embarked on a journey with no idea where we would end up. We met once a week for about six months learning the software and just editing photos.

They say finishing is better than just starting, so I awarded the five students who pulled through the very end. I took the time to honour their commitment and determination by designing certificates for them.
