wrinkle no more

When restoring the image, I used three primary tools: spot healing, patch tool, and paintbrush. Spot healing was used to paint away the smaller white wrinkles in the image. Although there are remnants of the creases in the final product, I think it adds a nice texture to the background. Afterwards, the patch tool was used to hide the large tears and rips. However, I came across an issue with the patch tool. It ended up lightening the areas around her hair, making it blend seamlessly into the background. To combat this, I used the paint tool brush to color over the light marks and made it separate again. What I’ve learned from this project is how to properly manipulate my pictures into being more crisp. I also learned that the tools used for restoration require precision and time. I cannot rush through this and expect adequate results.
