Drowsiness, fatigue, influence of alcohol or substance, distractions, emotional inability and other such factors regularly handicap the truck drivers during long-haul freight journeys, endanger the ride and pose a threat to life and resources.
Exclusively designed for fleet-vehicle owners and freighting companies, Cara is a dashboard face-recognition camera that constantly monitors precarious facial movements and condition of long-haul truck drivers and relays the data to the fleet vehicle managers to avoid undesired consequences.
The robust and compact device is customizable for various segments and makes of on-road freight vehicles and most importantly adjustable to be retro-fit onto dashboards that vary in inclination and curvatures.
Once affixed onto the dashboard, Cara identifies each driver sitting at the wheel. To facilitate the security measure, the dual-lens Face recognition camera continually maps 128 points on the face and relays the visuals to FreightVision's Control Hub. If driver is adjudged to be in a condition not fit for driving, Cara advices the driver to pull their vehicle over, with the use of voice assistance and subtle light indications, to avoid accidents preemptively ⚠️
A push-to-talk emergency button allows drivers to establish a direct communication link with FreightVision's control centre and in the worst case scenario, call for medical assistance at the location of the emergency.
