Kaizer Chiefs are an iconic football club from Soweto, South Africa and were founded in 1970 by local football hero and legend, Kaizer Motaung. Urban Edition is a classic sport and streetwear inspired fashion and accessories range, that celebrates the club’s bold colours, graphics and rich heritage. Working with our collaborators at Thread60, we were asked to design the graphics, patterns and typography and more for this striking collection. Let us how you:
"FOR THE PLAYERS"
Inspired by the classic player's collectible cards, we created player portraits for current club heroes: Midfielder Keagan Dolly, Striker Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and goalkeeping legend, Itumeleng Khune. Pictured below are these three players wearing their respective player card tees. Pretty damn cool.
