For Natural Disaster Flooding
The Drop buoy is designed as a first response to be dropped into natural flood disaster scenarios where victims are stranded and require professional emergency care.
The final concept is designed to be dropped into natural disasters during immediate flooding so it may float to victims who have not yet been reached by first responders. Once reached, users can activate the buoy via a touch sensitive power button and set the buoy upside-down to increase the signal of an embedded GPS locator for first responders to locate the victims. The buoy is equipped with cold plasma technology on its top surface to kill bacteria on the user's hands and minimize waterborne illness. It is also equipped with a UV water filtration nub on the underside which is designed to accept a standard-size water bottle screw top.
