"The Forgotten Glory" From our old '61 Lincoln, once glorious, just now collecting dust. I love how the DOF of the 50mm made the hood look like it was newly buffed out and shiny while keeping the focal sharp and dusty, like a time warp.
"Service" Although my fiance has been retired from the USMC since 2006, his dog tags still hang proudly on our wall beside a composite I created for him years ago that includes the well-known Veteran's poem "The Final Inspection".
A simple household kitchen whisk, but I was drawn to the lines, especially enjoying the ghostly ones captured in the background.
My daughter's pin push toy made for an interesting contrast and framing composition with really neat repetitions and reflection.
This is a prong collar, but when I set it down to work the angles, I saw these wonderful metal little gingerbread men sitting on each other's shoulder's.
This was created for a "Nosing Around" challenge, requiring the focus to be on the nose. I considered the pun of "Oh no. He knows!" when thinking of a nose composiition, so I went for a bit of a sinister feel to this one.
