The branding project deals with a hypothetical organization called 'Teesra Pahiya'. The organization looks after the welfare of autorickshaw drivers and their families in New Delhi and offers a range of services like auto for ladies, local auto tours, amongst others.
The brief required me to come up with a name, logo and stationary set for the organization.
The brief required me to come up with a name, logo and stationary set for the organization.
Theinspiration for the logo came from the shape and form of the autorickshaw, itself, blended with a bit of typography. Devnagri (hindi script) has been blended with the English script in the logo because the oragnization caters to a wide variety of audience, which include the hindi, as well as, English speaking population. The aesethtics of both had to be kept in mind. The initial alphabets of the words "Teesra Pahiya' have been played with to take the form of the vehicle.
Shown below are some of the main explorations.
The final logo consists of "T" in Devnagri, which denotes Teesra, blended with "P" from the word Pahiya. The colour palette is derived from the existing colours of the autorickshaw.
The stationary has been designed keeping in mind the nature of the organization and its varied client base. I have tried to imbibe simplicity with a bit of a twist and tried to keep the pattern uniform amongst all three items.
