Anna Mae's are a street food company who sell food from the deep southern states of America, specialising in BBQ "pulled pork" rolls and hearty sides.
They wanted a logo to have a link back to the smokehouse's of the southern states but with a funky "Shoreditch" feel. Here are a couple of my ideas.
I researched into imagery from old BBQ shacks and smoke houses and found alot of hand drawn typography so I thought this would suit the brand well and created my own. To add that funky feel they desired, I tried to create a Sailor Jerry meets street art feel with the flying pigs in Idea 1. In Idea 2 I tried to keep things a little more clean cut and contemporary.
