For our final project, we were instructed to choose a project inspired by the Arab designer of our choice. My project is a pressbook based off the work of Abd al-Salam al-Sherif. Abd al-Salam al-Sherif was an artist, designer and educator from Munya, Egypt. He was regarded as the founder of the field of printed design in Egypt. He designed many posters and advertising materials for films and plays. A press book is a booklet that contained information about films playing in theatres.
