Five tigers fiesta
for lunar new year 2022 - year of the Tiger
This is my submit artwork for Tired City’s drawing contest. The Topic is “Year of the Tiger”
The idea is based on a Hàng Trống folk drawing of 5 tigers (Ngũ Hổ), each one represent an element (earth, fire, water, wood, metal…). So basically I just put a crystal ball in the middle so they all can dance and have some fun, celebrating the upcoming new year 2022.
This piece got selected and included in Tired City's 2022 calendar - which sold in support of the bluedragonchildren fund.
