In this modern age of consumerism, I believe it’s important to verify the traceability of the goods we consume. This local shop’s beans are locally sourced from Mount Apo to the farms of Atok, Benguet. Knowing @getup.coffeeshop supports local farmers in their business endeavors had my mind at peace.
Peace is what their coffee experience is all about. From the way that they labeled their products (Make today count, Stay focused, Take a break) to the way that they sent their products (neat and nice packaging, carefully packed, aesthetically pleasing). Aside from its delicious taste and enticing aroma, this drip coffee takes your coffee time to a whole new level. And that’s what we want as consumers right? To elevate our coffee experience. 😌

There are two things I want in my coffee.
An aromatic smell that will excite me.
An addicting taste that will make me crave for more sip.
@getup.coffeeshop definitely fulfilled that. Their Make Today Count Coffee Drip is Arabica + Robusta with hints of cacao, dark chocolate, toasted marshmallows and nuts. I honestly don’t know much about coffee but I do know that this coffee drip gave me a wonderful experience with its aroma and taste. And that’s all we need to know right? 🥳
This coffee is strong but it won’t make your tummy ache nor turn your face sour. It’s well balanced, the acidity + bitterness harmonized to give you that powerful yet pleasant flavor. See my highlights to see how fresh it is because you can literally see a lot of bubbles forming on top (an indication that the coffee is fresh). 😍

They sent me an aesthetic box neatly and creatively packed (as seen from above) that consists of three coffee drips, muscovado sugar and even cinnamon powder! There is an instruction manual on how to use the coffee drip (perfect for first time users like me). And also a timetable to determine the optimal time for brewing your coffee. It just shows how the shop thought of everything to give customers the best coffee experience. ☺️
Coffee releases dopamine, the feel-good chemical in our brain which is released when we have happy experiences like winning the lottery. So yes — drinking this coffee made me feel like I’ve won the lottery. 🤣
We often take the little things in our life for granted, like drinking our coffee in the morning. Yet these collective little experiences make the most of our lives. The good experience that this coffee gave me made me remember that the little things aren’t so little at all. And for that I must make today count. ✨

Several of my friends have told me that the coffee in my recent stories looked good and I told them that it also “felt” good.
