Qualtrics Sydney Mural

Stewart West at Qualtrics invited me to collaborate on a mural Illustration to be installed in the new Qualtrics office in Sydney, Australia. They wanted to celebrate the opening of the new office along with some of their other iconic locations - from the home office in Provo to their European offices as well. So we highlighted some of the flora/fauna, legends and architecture of the selected office locations in one twisty, curvy image. One of the funner challenges I've had as an illustrator - got to channel my inner Thomas Hart Benton and make some truly bendy architecture. Loved the result and really love the way it looks in their offices.

Revised final illustration - based on feedback from groups in each city, we made some adjustments and also took the opportunity to make the bees a little friendlier.

A few months after the Sydney mural was completed and installed, Stewart contacted me about reconfiguring the illustration for use in a space in their newly designed office space in Krakow. This version was handpainted by a local crew on a concrete wall and left in black and white with color flowing just behind the ribbon with the city names.

The final version for the Krakow office - had to lower some elements and lose the sky since it would fall behind some exposed pipes in the space.

The installation of the new mural - they projected it on the wall and painted the mural by hand - I'm sure they'd punch me if they ever saw me for all those lines.
