Fiery [炎] is a handmade pendant light shade design by using wood veneers.

Making process - apply oil on the veneer, create a jig to hold ratan in shape.
Veneer sheets, ratan, square wooden sticks, ropes, varnish oil
I choose ikea hanging light holder + light bulb
Final Lamp Design
thin layer of veneers bring out the idea of fire, as the light shines through the overlapped veneers, create the sense of layers of fire.
