12 Признаков живого — выставка, в которой учёные-биологи и современные художники совместно формулируют критерии живого. В основе концепции выставки противопоставление и сравнение живого и неживого, объёмного и плоского, твёрдого и мягкого, художественного высказывания и научных тезисов.
12 Signs of the Life is an exhibition which explores the criteria of living forms formulated by biologists and contemporary artists. The exhibition oppose and compare different aspects of living and non-living through large and small scale, volumetric and flat surfaces, hard and soft materials, artistic expression and scientific theses.
Для выставки мы разработали визуальный язык из элементов линейной графики и фрагментов старых гравюр. Каждый 12 признаков мы преобразовали в абстрактный графический символ, и использовали эти символы в оформлении афиш, экранов и схемы пространства. А также развили из набора символов визуальный код для AR-меток в экспозиции.
For the exhibition, we developed a visual language composed out of line art elements and fragments of old engravings. Each 'sign of life' is an abstract graphic symbol that is connected visually with it's meaning. All 12 symbols are combined and used in posters design, cashier screens and space map. The visual code for AR tags in the exposition is also derived from the visual language of those symbols.
