MONKY SEE MONKEY SING - MUSIC CONCERT POSTER DESIGN

In this project I create a poster for a made-up music concert named 'Monkey see monkey sing'. The main illustration of the poster is a chimp holding a bass. I create this illustration using a creative common license image from Pixabay and then create a digital painting version of it in Photoshop. This poster is unified by one main theme: primitive. Chimps are close relative to human race. They came before human and have a simpler brain, and thus the theme 'primitive'. This theme is express via the incorrect grammar of the concert's name as well as the simple color palette in the background. Essential information are fully displayed on the poster: name of the concert, time, location, and performers.
