Explorations and experiments with long exposure night photography on a frigid evening in Feburary.  All images processed with Photoshop and Lightroom (Camera RAW) to bring out colors and contrast.  Panoramas assembled in Photoshop. All images captured with a Panasonic Lumix LX7 with long exposure using the built-in ND filter.

The next image is a 180+ degree 7-shot stitched panorama facing north (left) to south (right) on Michigan Ave.  7 images composited (15 sec exposure, f8, ISO 80).  Hi-res version.

The next image is a 125+ degree 4-shot stitched panorama facing south (left) to west (right) on Michigan Ave.  4 images composited (30 second exposure, f7.1, ISO 80). Hi-res version.
