Cover design and instrumental piece as part of an upcoming EP, called "Forest"

The piece was composed for a small ensemble with piano, a trumpet, cello, violin, flute, clarinet, drum and bassoon. Some of the fx and drum sounds have been recorded upfront using an old piano and some stuff that we threw in the piano or simply beat or knocked on it on various places to achieve a wide spectrum of percussion sounds.

What is time? We walk through our houses every day, without noticing moments following another moment and before we notice, another week, year, decade is gone. sometimes we see a spiderweb hanging down from the ceiling. a silent witness of time that has passed. without a spider weaving it, would we know that time exists or maybe it doesn't? we know that spiders are not as scary as we think they would be. it's mostly a trained condition of our behaviour that was carried forward thoughout our cultural development, some people say. others say that our reaction of panic is hardcoded on our DNA. we all killed a spider once in our lifetime. but I have stopped doing this. in my house, I have a silent mutual agreement with the spiders that live there. they don't touch my stuff, and I don't bother them. if one of them accidentally crosses my path, I carry them outside and let them continue weaving their webs. as a thanks, I have a house free of mosquitoes and flies. and time passes normally.
