Totes is a brand founded in 2021 that aims to create practical tote bags that the market is missing with unique and abstract designs. After finishing a heavy market research, it was concluded that most tote bag consumers are students especially in art schools who mostly complained about tote bags not fitting their A3 Sketchbooks ,having no pockets and tearing quickly due to the fragile materials. These were exactly the problems we tried to solve when designing the tote bags for 'Totes'.
The brand's aesthetic is fun, abstract, yet minimal, which is why the logo reflects this nature as well as the launching campaign which included the brand's shapes but in 3D form.
The production phase was definitely a challenge ;to find a durable fabric that can be printed on without ruining the colors and can be washed afterwards; maintaining the sewing quality; producing a higher quality tote bag while trying to compete with the market's prices.
