THE THINKING HAND

Sketch exercise, 2013.

The architectural drawing is a powerful skill, one can use in different ways. In this ability training, I learned to attract myself from the technical mindset and open up to the profundity that is hidden in the underlying thinking. It’s all about transferring an idea to another.

My sketches are known as noisy, saturated and chaotic. Frequently and repeatedly drawing the same line to give it the right sense. I’ve discovered that I should not be embarrassed off my style but should use the characteristics properly. It's my way of transferring an idea on to someone else. The border to display feelings on paper has been blurred and I've got the audacity to experiment. In addition, the hierarchy of sketches and influencing perception are at issue. For this I’ve unraveled a fascinating project, the Church of the light Tadao Ando.
