This band is pure 1950s rockabilly. They record in mono in studios that have the correct vintage recording equipment. Their band photos look like something out of a vintage magazine. I simply had to come up with a design style that made the whole product – including the Fuel label logo – look like something from a parallel 1950s dimension.
The printer delivered slightly dirty and faded looking covers, something that I normally would be upset about. For Fredrik’s Rock’n’roll Trio it added extra flavour to the design. The coloured vinyl, HOWEVER, was the opposite of faded.
