EXTENSION CORD
A redesign of the extension cord which solves some of the major flaws of standard models. A cable reservoir contains the remaining cord, which keeps the surrounding area clean. The velcro straps allows the socket to be attached to the desk or table which not only keeps the work area organised but also allows the user to insert or remove power plugs single handed. This 3D printed working prototype is designed in Fusion 360 and then fitted with all the standard components. Only the plastic injection molds need to be redesigned before this power socket can be taken into production.
