Motherhood

I was working on a project emulating photogs and artists that I admire in Sept 2021, and I was photographing this pregnant mama with coloured gels. One of the strobes didn't fire and the portrait portion of this was born. I wanted to create something really magical with it. Crescent moons and fish are associated with fertility so making crescent moon fish felt like a natural thing to do. I would absolutely love to create more storytelling maternity images like this.
