MEZA
A modular furniture system with Viaplant's glass-plant composite table tops (viaplant.com).
The main character of the table base system was inspired by the nature and the striving of the plant shoots towards the Sun.
During the design process, it was an important aspect that the main role was played by Viaplant glass table tops - which uses and preserves plant parts. Therefore the table bases are stylized, and they are characterized by natural, restrained material and use of colors.
The modules are attached to each other with detachable joints, so they can be transported economically and parts can be easily replaced or recycled in case of damage.
This is how the MEZA furniture family tries to create a balance between naturalness and technology, as well as system-based design and playfulness.
