SINOPSIS:
Geronimo is a farmer.
He lives and works on the coast of Rio de la Plata
Geronimo is setting out on a journey, a journey into himself.

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR:

“The Inner Valley emerges from the need to explore some personal
questions about fertility, life, death, nature and the mothers figure.
To represent this, we worked with “non actors” and took care to
respect their geography, their sounds, their voice and way of seeing
things.

Contemplate how their world changes, how it moves. Getting into
their feelings. from a fictional anthropological perspective. our
intention was to get as close as we could to “life”.
Man – feelings – landscapes in its own nature, in its most
contemplative way, primitive and silent.”

SHOOTING "EL VALLE INTERIOR"

THE REALITY IN THE LAND:

The film was shot on location during a period of deep conflict on
the island. Over the past four years, those living on the island have
been isolated and threatened, properties have been lost and burned
as private institutions were building a residential area in their land.
Our carácter Geronimo is one of the last residents in the island in a
landscape that has already been destroyed.
