Project Goal
UX team at eightfold.ai is working on a project to completely revamp their visual style. It is not just to keep the visual style up to date with the current trends, but also to create an inspiring visual style for the talent products space and also to the tech industry. They are looking for a unique illustration style that fits perfectly to their products, users, and to UI language.
Challenge
As mentioned, the illustration should be up to date with the latest trends, unique and value diversity. To get a unique style, the illustrations that are popular nowadays are usually designed to be disproportionate/unusual, such as the proportions of the arms or legs that are longer or larger. It may be unique, but to show diversity in the illustration will be a little difficult, because illustrations with this kind of style usually have the same body structure, it aims to retain the design style of each character still the same. Based on that, to show diversity in this illustration project, it is better to use a different approach.
Execution
The first illustration is "An office or a meeting room illustration to be used as a hero image on pages for new employee onboarding"
The second illustration is "A person using a laptop comfortably at home. This is to be used for a new user flow where a person is building his/her resume and trying to apply for a job"
