This was a really great project.

 

The Brief was to illustrate a Children's Book.

I decided to Illustrate the Grimm brothers 52'nd story "Foundling Bird"

 

Staying true to the story I felt a darker undertone was appropriate. The story has definitely become one of my favorites. 

I created a porcelain doll to accommodate the Children's book. Afterwards I realized that it turned out a little creepier than what I had anticipated but All-in-All it was a lot of fun making the doll and I learned a lot.
