Rostov State Musical Theater
The goal was to go beyond the basic stylistics of the room and update its appearance without a coordinated change in the supporting structure.
I wanted to visually connect the facade of the balcony with the theater box and visually divide the room into triangles and edges.
The ribs performed both decorative - they gave an original appearance, and functional - they extinguished reverberation due to their structure. It was decided to make them narrow to the bottom to save space for visitors.
The theater box greatly influenced the perception of the room, and first of all it was necessary to change its geometry.
