ART 235 PSA POSTER PROJECT
PROJECT BRIEF
For this project, we were asked to design three posters that could be used in a Public Service Announcement campaign. All 3 posters need to be visually connected enough that it is obvious that they are of the same campaign, but communicate different things. I chose the non-profit organization Cure SMA. This organization helps those with the genetic disease SMA, by providing support, financial help, and funding to help find a cure.
I will show you my design process below.
SKETCHES AND INSPIRATION
I made a mind map to help gather ideas on how to start the project. I also circled the ones I thought worked best.
I then made sketches of different poster ideas on paper, and chose 3 that I felt communicated the idea best.

IN CONCLUSION
This project showed me the importance of knowing the message that I want to communicate to the public and use my design skills to execute it. I wanted it to be memorable and moving.
By trying different techniques through Adobe programs and using physical materials, I was able to make an effect campaign.
