Raddiwala...the newspaper chair

This project was developed during my Internship at the Josmo Design studio, Mumbai.

Raddiwala (scrap paper dealer) is what we think when you see a pile of newspapers forming in your room. This chair , more or less has the same function. RADDIWALA not only adds as a furntiture piece to your space but also helps in saving it.

Material and Joinery Exploration:
The benefit of not having the seat attached to the frame gives the user a benefit of using the seating at different levels, which is determined by the pile pf newspapers.
Using pastels as the colour variety ensures a versatile usage of the chair. It's fresh and chic aesthetics can easily grasp the attention.
Raddiwala is a complete DIY where all the parts will be accomodated in a flat box
Its has smooth assemble and a long lasting life. Its userfreindly charachter will allow the user to make it into a seating, and enjoy the comfort and pleasure of seating on a pile of newspapers.
