My entry project for the 120 HOURS competition for 2014 , the assignment this year was to design a structure serves a a meeting point in the ØYA FESTIVAL with the freedom to develop the program , choose its exact location within the TØYENPARKEN in oslo, Norway. where the festival will be held , the structure should also function as an attraction that communicates a sustainable statement , to be a tool for critical thinking and engage with and challenge the public, to raise social consciousness on alternative approaches to environmental challenges, local as well as global.

This was a great opportunity to express perspectives and beliefs about architecture while competing with 2000 students fom 80 countries in only 120 hours .

The main concept here was trieng to experiment how far can a structure achieve all its goals only due its form especially being a sustainable, smart and enviromental friendly structure, in contradiction of the common understanding of sustainability as a cosmetic or engineering concern.

So in this project, form and building materials and system are developed spontaneously to achieve ; Structure stability, Noise reduction, Aesthetics, Power generation, Cost and logestic effort reduction, Comfortable microclimate, Iconic presence and land mark and Interactivity with the enviroment, music and visitors of the festival.

FIF is a structure which I tried to show with it how form can be not only in the lead of the building process but also a substitute for whatever else, its all about form, all about architecture.
