Cuphead Theme - Digital sculpt & 3D printing

Digital Sculpts
For 3D printing purposes and to practice some airbrush techniques, I decided to sculpt some basic models.

I choose the Cuphead theme for the simplicity of characters which, by the way, turned more challenging than I imagined... 😅

The challenging was finding some good references in different angles from original characters, since I'm not too good on drawing... I only found those above images on Pinterest. Something which really help me was my early studies of anatomy for characters.
Basically I started to blocking, always imagining how the character would be in other angles.
Cuphead: Blocking stages
For the Cuphead character, this was the results:
Cuphead - Digital Sculpt (FAN ART)
I followed the same methods for the other two characters.
Devil and Mugman: Blocking stages
The tricky part was the Devil nails, since I just only used the remesh method for sculpting. I didn't use neither the multires or retopology because it's was to be a fast project, only to test 3D printing. I risked just join the meshes at final and worked very well for printing purposes!

I liked the Devil results. I don't spent much time on Mugman, but later on I regret this when put the pieces together... but worked anyway! 😊
This was the results for both of them:
Devil and Mugman sculpt (Cuphead FAN ART)
After that (and before printing) I tried to test some procedural shaders for simulate the mood of final painting. I put all pieces together like a simple diorama for this.

Here is one of the results:
I will paint and, as soon as possible, update this post with final results. Just wait for it! 😎
Last update: My wife saw the work and love it so much she asked me to do Ms. Chalice as well! Back to the "sculpt board"! 😁
